Can I wear this under a coat in winter?
Yes. The knit is thin enough to slide under a coat without bunching at the shoulders. Most shoppers wear it on its own in fall and as a base layer when it gets colder.
Will the brushed inside flatten out after washing?
Wash it cold and hang it to dry and the soft inside stays soft. Hot water and high-heat drying are what wear brushed knits down.
