ALDER VALE is named after the alder trees that follow the creeks down from the Santa Ynez Mountains toward the Pacific. Fog in the morning, gold in the afternoon, cool air at dusk — that landscape is the brief for everything we design.
Our story
We believe the clothes you reach for most are the quiet ones: a knit that softens with every wear, a coat that works with everything, a dress that simply feels right. Pieces that don't need a logo to be noticed.
So we design exactly that — considered wardrobe staples in natural tones and honest fabrics, cut to layer and made to move between seasons. Every collection is designed in California and shaped by the light, colors and textures of the coast and canyons around Montecito.
